Our first organic wine is a Barbera d’Asti D.O.C.G. from 2018 vintage. The cooperative is fully certified as producer and bottl
of wines made from organic farming grapes and has finally managd to vinify separately the grapes from our winegrowers who already were certified. The Barbera grape is for sure the most representative of the cooperative, the soils of our hills are mainly clayey andcalcareous, neutral or subalkaline meaning optimal to grow this grapes. Our winegrowers cultivate with dedication, care and
sacrifice and in the most natural and sustainable way their own vineyards to bring to the cooperative high quality organic grapesOur organic Barbera has a red ruby color with purple hues; the nose is very fruity with hints of syrupy fruit (mainly peach) with
aromas of roses on the finish; the palate is dry, round with a good structure, very typical
Grape-stalks removal and pressing. Maceration process at controlled
temperature in programmable machines.
Perfect to be paired with tasty first courses,with meat and cheese.
